UAE’s Vice-President visited Arabian Travel Market

    His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai recently inaugurated the latest edition of the Arabian Travel Market – the largest travel and tourism show in the Middle East, accompanied by dignitaries. Shaikh Mohammad also reviewed the UAE tourism report for 2011. The UAE’s hotels have serves 14.5 million guests last year, recording 44.3 million guestnights and generating revenue of Dh22 billion, of which Dh16 billion was generated by hotels and serviced apartments located in Dubai. A total of 2,400 participants from 87 countries are in Dubai for the four-day event. Meanwhile, the Shaikh also paid a visit to Thai Business Council Dubai and Northern Emirates booth at the fair.
